About Growth Chart Calculator

Growth Chart Calculator is a free online tool that helps parents track their child's height, weight, head circumference, and BMI percentiles from birth to age 20 using WHO and CDC growth standards.

Independent and parent-focused

Who We Are

We are an independent team focused on making pediatric growth data easier for parents to access and easier to understand. Growth Chart Calculator was built around a simple problem: growth charts are everywhere, but plain-language explanations of what those numbers mean for an individual child are often hard to find.

Our goal is to give families accurate percentile results with clear, jargon-light context so checkup conversations can start from understanding rather than confusion. We write for parents first, while staying anchored to established WHO and CDC growth references.

How the calculator helps

What This Tool Does

Height

Height Percentile Tracking

Check your child's height or recumbent length against WHO and CDC growth standards for exact age and sex.

Weight

Weight Percentile Tracking

See how weight compares with same-age peers by using internationally recognized pediatric reference data.

BMI

BMI-for-Age Percentile

Calculate BMI percentile for ages 2 to 20 and pair the result with plain-language interpretation.

Head

Head Circumference Tracking

Monitor head growth for infants and toddlers through the first 36 months, where this measurement matters most.

WHO + CDC

WHO and CDC Standards

Use WHO standards from birth to 24 months and CDC growth charts from age 2 onward, matching the age split used in U.S. pediatric practice.

Privacy

Privacy-First Calculations

Percentile calculations run in your browser. We do not send a child's measurements to our server, and saved profiles stay local to your browser unless you export them.

Our Data Sources

The growth reference data used in this calculator comes from internationally recognized public-health authorities rather than from custom or editorialized reference tables. These sources define the measurement distributions that the percentile outputs are based on.
